Work With Me

How We Work Together

I offer both virtual & in-person appointments.

I only accept patients who are residents of BC.

Appointments can be scheduled online or by phone.

1

  • I have a new patient application as I want you to receive the best care. In order to do that, we need to ensure your health concerns align with my expertise. I want to ensure I can help you!
  • My administrative team will review your application and make sure that you are a good fit for my practice.
  • If your application is approved, my Patient Care Coordinator will inform you within 2 business days, and will help book in your initial (75 minute) appointment, or advise on the current wait times.
  • If you health does not fit within my area of practice focus, we will try our best to direct you to to an alternative Naturopathic Doctor that may be a better fit or to BC's Naturopathic Directory.

ON-GOING CARE
  • The purpose of future follow-up appointments is to monitor your progress, update your active treatment plan, and provide education surrounding your health.
  • Brief follow-ups are typically scheduled every 4-8 weeks to monitor progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
  • These appointments vary from 30-60 minutes in length depending on the complexity of your case.

Common Questions

Do you offer virtual appointments?

Yes! Currently offering virtual, phone and in-person appointments. When scheduling your appointment, specify what type of appointment you would prefer.

Are my visits covered by health insurance?

Currently, Naturopathic Doctor visits are not covered under the Medical Services Plan (MSP) in BC, other than a small portion if you have premium assistance status. However, most extended benefit plans cover services provided by Naturopathic Doctors. More insurance plans are providing a ‘health spending account’ where all of your benefits could theoretically be directed to Naturopathic services, in which case 100% of your fees would be covered. Check with your extended benefit plan to see what your plan covers.

How much does working with Dr. Stephanie cost?

Your health is an investment, and I believe that when people feel well, they can be more productive, happier and experience life to the fullest. In addition to the financial cost of care, you are making a commitment to yourself.

Extended healthcare benefits may cover a portion of the visit fee - check with your insurer regarding your specific plan.
