## Prescription Refill Policy

Our clinic receives a high volume of calls for medication refill requests. This policy applies to all patients of Dr. Stephanie Bayliss, ND and Dr. Taylor Thurston, ND.

Requests for prescription refills are best handled during a scheduled appointment with your naturopathic doctor. A fee of $25.00 applies to refill requests made outside of an appointment.

Prior to your next appointment, please check your medications for upcoming refill needs. It's much easier to have your refills addressed while you're already in an appointment with your naturopathic doctor. To avoid running out of medication, we recommend scheduling your next appointment before you leave your current one — it remains your responsibility to monitor your medication supply.

If you have not had an appointment with your naturopathic doctor within the past 6 months, prescription refills cannot be completed outside of an appointment.

For refill requests made outside of an appointment:

- Once reviewed and approved, our admin team will contact you for fee payment and fax the prescription to your requested pharmacy.

Information required for a refill request:

- Pharmacy name and phone number
- Medication name and spelling
- Dose
- Frequency

Note: If a refill request is made while you are overdue for a follow-up visit or necessary bloodwork required to monitor the safety and effectiveness of the medication, your naturopathic doctor will not be able to provide a refill without an appointment.
